Sound Familiar?

There is nothing worse for a designer than struggling to find answers. This course is for any creative tired of taking online courses, listening to lengthy, nebulous content, watching tedious videos, or reading “free” advice - only to be left with more questions than answers?

Most training resources & coaches have no idea how to run a successful freelance web service. Career teachers demonstrate theories that don’t apply in the real world.

Successful Agencies Don't Typically Teach

Successful and effective web development services have clawed their way to something meaningful. They don’t want to share with others their secret recipe. The rationale is simple - they don’t want to create competitors.

Breaking The Trend

A few years ago, we started teaching a few people that wanted to be part of something better. They are typically people-pleasers wishing to express their creativity and have the wisdom to do something better.

The result has been amazing. We have transformed a few lives, made the Web a little brighter, and occasionally collaborated on a project or two. In other words, we see a community form with positive values.

Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach

- George Bernard Shaw

Some of our most successful customers are high school graduates without college experience. Why is that? It’s because they learned to do what works in the real world. Career teachers don’t know how to create a successful business other than theoretical businesses with theoretical situations.

teach

We are not dismissing education, but "street smarts" always outweigh theoretical concepts. Teachers sell concepts while designers make a living by performing a valuable service. Many courses and self-professing gurus on the Web promise to make you a competent web designer. At best, these services teach you a poor solution that will disappoint your clients and lead to high turnover and a negative reputation.

I want to change that for a handful of designers that REALLY want to offer an added-value service that can help businesses reach their potential.

- Ken Carroll, Creative Director - IntegrisDesign®

  • You are serious about creating a profitable web design service

This sounds obvious, but most website design services lack the desire for something meaningful.

  • You’re a bit of a idealist

We want to help people who want to offer a valuable service for businesses. No grifters or those looking to shortcut the design profession through clipart, canned themes, and outsourcing. This course will not work with that mindset... so save your money.

  • You are trying to escape the gravity of DIY builders

DIY website builders are limited and don’t give you the freedom needed to be successful. In addition, these DIY programs have powerful and misleading advertising that we will address.

  • You Want To Create A Business

You want to know how to build agreements, run reports, and create meaningful plans to keep your clients happy while giving you confidence in your services.

  • You Are Tired of Debating

You want to skip all the theory and cut to the chase of what really matters.

  • You want to quit using unreliable cheap hosting

Let us show a better solution for cheap VPS and shared hosting. (It's easy for competitors to exploit this weakness)

You MUST Have The Following To Get The Most Out Of This Course

  • Adobe Creative Suite Experience

A fundamental understanding of Illustrator & Photoshop is critical. We will discuss image optimization and standard daily routines used in web development. We will also cover topics such as lossy vs. lossless and web versus print.

  • Basic WordPress

A general understanding of WordPress (not installing it or configuring, but broad usage experience).

  • Solid design experience

Good design is the most essential ingredient. Yes, more important than programming. Do not attend this course if you are not serious about design.

  • A Little HTML

Basic HTML understanding. Nothing crazy. It's a common mistake to think you must create code from scratch and have server-side code experience to create a viable solution.

  • Hardware & Software

You must have a computer & Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Availability

This course is available for anyone outside of:

    • North Carolina
    • Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina
    • Eastern Tennessee
    • Charlotte, North Carolina

With this course, you will not need:

  • Advanced Coding

PHP, MySQL, JS, or another specialized coding language. It's a common mistake to think you must be a code warrior to create an effective solution.

  • Server Software

CPANEL or PLESK knowledge. This is typical software used to manage a server.
